We all know traffic jams cause us all a load of grief. However we now know, via the Financial Times, how much it costs the economy.
In 2013 and to London alone, traffic congestion cost the economy $8.5 billion (or around £5.3 billion) placing the economy at a very expensive standstill. What’s worse is that traffic congestion in the UK is forecast to rise faster than in France, Germany and the US.
